Our significant experience in the defence industry includes acting in the acquisition of an Australian aerospace engineering company by a European buyer, including due diligence on related business interests in India. We have also acted for Commonwealth Defence contractors on local and national facilities and development sites and advised on private defence-focused landholding entities for existing and new developments. We have assisted a major defence manufacturer obtain an exemption from various requirements of equal opportunity legislation so as to be able to provide services in the USA.
Our team is actively involved in the Defence Teaming Centre (DTC), working cooperatively to support the growth and development of the defence industry in South Australia. Our team members are hands-on, dedicated to building on our relationships with government, prime contractors and small to medium enterprises. We support the industry by participating in and sponsoring industry events, and by sharing our significant legal expertise through industry information sessions.
