Congratulations to Kyra Reznikov, Special Counsel, who has recently been appointed to the Aquaculture Tenure Allocation Board (ATAB).

As head of our Environment, Climate Change and Planning practice area, Kyra’s expertise is unrivalled in her field.

She has degrees in Engineering and Law, including First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering.

Kyra assists her clients with project development and regulatory requirements, with particular focus on approvals and tenement applications, land access, environmental impact assessment, compliance, water access, and offset arrangements.

Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession has listed Kyra as a Recommended Planning and Environmental lawyer in South Australia since 2010.  Kyra has been recognised by Best Lawyers Australia for Planning and Environmental Law since 2014 and was named ‘Lawyer of the Year – Planning and Environmental Law in South Australia’ in April 2018.

The Aquaculture Tenure Allocation Board (ATAB) is the statutory body that considers marine aquaculture lease applications and recommends actions to the Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development.

The Board’s role is to ensure a fair and efficient means of allocating the State’s aquaculture resources that is consistent with the principles of ecologically sustainable development.  Learn more about the Board here.
