Lisa is a Partner in our Banking & Finance and Corporate & Commercial teams. Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clients, having been involved in a wide range of banking, finance, insolvency and reconstruction matters, as well as complex transactional and commercial advisory matters.

There’s no ‘off the shelf’ solution for any of Lisa’s clients. She works to understand each client’s issues and commercial objectives, identify the best course of action and provide precise, concise and commercially-focused advice. Lisa has developed long standing relationships with many clients who value her outcome-driven, practical and personable approach.

Lisa is experienced in all aspects of financing transactions, having acted for all major Australian banks, as well as regional and other lenders.  As technology capabilities continue to advance throughout the finance sector, Lisa has supported her clients in navigating Financial Technologies (FinTech) and emerging opportunities in this rapidly evolving space.

Lisa has specific expertise in advising on and preparing facility and security documentation, restructuring and work outs, debt recovery and securities enforcement. She also acts in large insolvency administrations for financiers and insolvency practitioners, providing commercially astute advice on wide ranging issues and transactions.

Working with businesses across a broad variety of industries, Lisa also has extensive corporate experience, from preparing advice and acting in a large range of commercial and corporate transactions to substantial litigation against company officers and professional advisers.  This includes providing advice on complex Personal Property Securities Act issues, acting in relation to acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructures, and drafting, negotiating and advising on significant commercial contracts, including in relation to procurement and supply.

Lisa also advises start-ups and scale-ups in relation to financing and structuring matters, including crowd-sourced equity funding and other fundraising opportunities.
