Bryce is a Lawyer in Finlaysons’ Property and Development team. He has specialised experience in real estate transactions, property development and high value conveyancing for commercial and residential land.
In this work, Bryce has gathered expertise in assisting clients with due diligence investigations, acquisitions of land, the preparation and negotiation of contracts and associated development documentation. His involvement extends to prominent Torrens and community titled residential and mixed-use developments, encompassing large-scale apartment and townhouse projects, primarily within South Australia.
Experience
- Acting for vendors and purchasers in respect of significant transactions for the sale and purchase of commercial, retail, industrial, residential (including bundled apartment sales), agricultural, and proposed development sites.
- Acting for property developers in their Torrens and community titled developments, including large-scale CBD and city-fringe residential and mixed use apartment developments, and assisting with the preparation of development agreements, residential land sale contracts and special conditions, encumbrances, by-laws and scheme documents.
- Advising landlords and tenants on their interests, rights and obligations under lease agreements, and assisting with drafting and negotiating with counterparties surrounding the same.
- Preparing a wide range of land registry forms and assisting clients with registration issues, including in respect of land divisions, caveats and other time-sensitive situations.
- Attending to the conveyancing and settlement of many land types in South Australia and interstate, including the completion of high-value and complex commercial conveyancing matters.
