Tim Swaine, Senior Legal Counsel at ElectraNet, will be joining Finlaysons’ Commercial team as Special Counsel working primarily in the Energy and Major Projects space.
Tim further bolsters to the Finlaysons team’s depth with significant expertise in matters involving the development and connection and regulation of renewable energy projects large scale grid-connected battery projects, wind and solar farms, and electricity infrastructure.
Tim has a vast amount of experience working in the private sector in general commercial and litigation, where he has acted as a trusted legal advisor to a variety of Australian and international clients.
Speaking on his appointment, Tim said that he was looking forward to the opportunity to work with the well-established legal firm.
“I am delighted to be joining the long standing and experienced Commercial team at Finlaysons, particularly at a time when the energy sector is experiencing unprecedented change and growth, and the firm’s clients are looking to develop and augment new project opportunities” he said.
