Background
Johns unique and extensive experience comes from being a barrister acting for both plaintiffs and defendants with respect to disputed claims and has conducted trials in the District Court of South Australia, prior to joining Finlaysons.
As well as being a lawyer, John is also a qualified structural engineer with 10 years post-graduate experience, in domestic and commercial structural design.
John is able to assess and review evidence to determine strengths, weaknesses and risks associated with likely outcomes at Court. He is aware of the need to plan investigations, obtain and preserve evidence in a timely manner and in admissible form, regardless of whether a trial may be imminent or not.
