Since opening office in 2015, Finlaysons has provided seamless legal advice to clients in the NT from its Darwin and Adelaide offices.

David Martin, Managing Partner, who is named by peers as the No 1 property lawyer in SA, is advising Darwin and interstate clients on major property development projects in Darwin.

Michael Butler, Taxation and Revenue Partner, continues to advise his longstanding and substantial portfolio of Darwin based clients on complex taxation and revenue issues, corporate structures, property development, trusts, succession planning and doing business in China.

Ralph Bonig, Special Counsel, along with Andrew Williams and Kirsten Gordge, Litigation Partners, act for Darwin based clients on proceedings in NT courts and tribunals and the Federal Court.

George McKenzie and Andrew Dyda, Resources and Native Title Partners, are advising on a current mining project in the NT and are available to advise on resources projects and native title generally.

Gavin Cragg, Property Partner, and Kyra Reznikov, Special Counsel, are advising on environmental and water extraction issues on a pastoral property in the NT.

Lan Lam, Commercial Partner, advises on the application of the foreign investment rules to Chinese investment in agricultural land in the NT.

Guy Biddle, Workplace Partner, and Will Snow, Senior Associate, advise Darwin clients on employment law, in particular the law relating to claims for unfair dismissal.

Austin Wakeham, Associate, advises Darwin and interstate clients on commercial leases and business sale agreements in the NT.

Finlaysons is on the legal panels for major banks and insurance companies in South Australia.  James Jarvis and Andrew Kedzior, Banking Law Partners, are available to act for the Darwin offices of banks for which Finlaysons are on legal panels.
